Summer is here! I think I get more excited about the end of the school year than my kids do. I can't tell you just how good it feels, to go through my phone and turn all my alarms off (and trust me..there are a lot). During the school year I'm constantly running my kids here and there, to and from two different schools, after school activities and such. I love not having a routine, not always being in a hurry and leisurly enjoying the day with my kids. So, this Summer, I plan to lounge by the pool, read plenty of good books (ok ok.. smutty romance books!), Take a few relaxing vacations ...oh, and of course make cakes! ; )
Since we're talking about Summer..I'll start this post with this pool party cake. I think that I subconsciously made the fondant figures resemble my Husband and myself. I told you...I'm in desperate need of a vacation! lol
